Welcome, Friends! I am so thrilled to be participating in this year's event...and so happy to have friends come for a visit to see my current projects, swaps and other adventures! I became familiar with this event last year, however I did not participate. I am so happy to be able to participate this year. I thank Lisa for bring the world of bloggers closer together and organizing such a great event.
I love art in every form and love to create- it can be with paper, fabric or yarn or any medium that inspires me! I love treasure hunting at thrift stores with friends on Saturdays to bring home something that will turn out to be something other then what it is! And I adore vintage.

I have selected some of my favorite things as a door prize, so please leave a comment and on February 17th I will select a winner!
The first prize is a hand knitted scarf constructed in an eyelash yarn, you can even choose the color....black, black/brown or plum! Rose is shown wearing the black one:

I have this sweet pair of pink heart earrings have been created for a swap they are so cute to wear. And then the fabulous stash of collage materials that includes papers, images, laces, and embellishments!

You have such an eclectic background! I myself am an Eskimo (truly, from Alaska) living in Oz (Kansas' "fancy name) with her husband and children (and cat, don't forget the cat!). I'm a full time kindergarten teacher who happily loses herself in antique malls, bookstores, sales racks and her crafty nook. I most enjoy paper crafts and crocheting, but am branching out, little by little as I discover new-to-me crafts.

Even though it has been nearly a year and a half for both of us, I find it surreal and still expect to hear my phone ring in the morning knowing it's her. We are too young to have lost our dearest souls and can't wait for the day we'll see them again.
