Creating is so much more fun when you have the opportunity to post the finished project to share with everyone! I am so thrilled to have created a new atc...and the inspiration was the pink card with the cat! Starting with bright color and black and white, I thought I would love to see a card with more simple shapes. The bright colors would create a great finished ATC, so I used this fabulous turquoise paper with the gold circles wrapped in white spots. The addition of a little texture by adding crepe paper and white gel pen and with a little ribbon for the collar and there is such a sweet card.

Cute ATC! I had not even thought about what it would feel like to create and not be able to share it with everyone on our blog. I think it would be less fulfilling if I created artwork and had no one to show it to. Thanks for stopping by. It's a pleasure to meet you! Have a nice day! Twyla

I like it! It reminds me of vintage halloween cards.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it!
Hi Gigi,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely ATC that is! :) Thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog now and then -- that's so very much appreciated. Your sweet comment on my "Tangled" post made my day. :)
Oh, I didn't get enough votes for my photo book way back in spring, but that's okay. I had fun creating the booklet and love how it turned out. That's the most important thing after all. Moreover, I would like to thank you for voting for me -- that means so much. :)
I had to smile when you wrote that you sent me some Arizona sunshine. How I wish I was back visiting your state!
Maybe you want to check out my Oktoberfest giveaway (still open until October 2nd). It would be nice to welcome you back to my blog.
Hugs,
Birgit
Guess what the word verification for my last comment was? Be hip! Isn't that just funny?! :)
