A Wonderful Trip

I had a wonderful time travelling through the Internet to meet so many fabulous bloggers! I look forward to many more hours of visiting all of you to enjoy your brilliant artwork and creativity.

2011 One World One Heart

Welcome, Friends!

I am so thrilled to be participating in this year's event...and so happy to have friends come for a visit to see my current projects, swaps and other adventures! I became familiar with this event last year, however I did not participate. I am so happy to be able to participate this year. I thank Lisa for bring the world of bloggers closer together and organizing such a great event.

I love art in every form and love to create- it can be with paper, fabric or yarn or any medium that inspires me! I love treasure hunting at thrift stores with friends on Saturdays to bring home something that will turn out to be something other then what it is! And I adore vintage.

My Purple Heart

When I opened an email and found that I was invited to participate in a shades of purple inchie swap, I raced to sign up! There wasn't a lot of time to create, but I managed to collage a handful of inches all dressed up in purples! I can't tell you how thrilled I was to open my purple decorated envelope and pulled out this stunning fabric heart collage ! Inside, beautifully arranged were the most precious inchies.

The hostess of this swap made this wonderful display for all the participants!

Sweet Treat's for Valentine's Day

Valentine's day is one special day of the year. It is devoted to love! This year my vintage candy box is filled with sweet treats from a "Sweet Swap".

I open my box and we have a "Sweethurts" selection.

Following is a fun little cupcake with a wee little cherry on top!

This next sweet has a very sophisticated flavor!

This treat is a vintage little sweetheart which hid a box of conversation heart!

And the last sweet in the box is a vintage valentine!
