  1. What inspires me? There are so many things but I think I would have to say history, I am working on a series of cards all about the Queens of Henry the VIII, and I am hosting a swap about the years 1910-1919 so many interesting things I am learning that I didn't know about from the cards I am recieving. This has turned out to be a great swap idea, fun yet educational!

  6. I get inspiration from art books and magazines, and from the artwork I receive from other artists in swaps, especially the chunky book and ATC swaps. I also am frequently inspired by quotes I find while reading various books - they often wind up in my art journal accompanying a collage. Thank you for the chance at some goodies!

  7. One of my favorite muses is Michael deMeng, who creates fantastic assemblage art. His dark, often humurous take on things appeals to my sense of the universe. It's wonderful to stretch your imagination and step out of your comfort zone! Just thinking how to use punchinella in a dark, rusty way. LOL!

  8. Color! Wow,colors inspire me to get out the brush, glue, etc. Music is next, for the intuitive process. People are also, I love the diffences in each of us and they motivate me to apply the diffences through my art.

  10. I'm inspired by everything I see, especially nature, and all the colors found there, the clouds, the moon, everything I hear, from music, to the birds singing outside my door, or a casual conversation overheard while going about my day. I also love the way the word punchinella feels when it rolls round in my mouth.

  11. Color inspires me. A friend recently gave me a creativity kit from her stash. It was a bunch of different stuff in shades of blue and purple. I loved playing with the different pieces and putting them into the journal I was working on.

  12. Well, I am inspired by seeing something in a magazine or online that challenges me to step it up a notch. I've always been pretty competitive so I love to challenge myself to see if I can do something pretty or funny or ? I love being with my artful friends online or in person, they inspire me to step outside my comfort zone and try new things.
I still am not quite clear on what Punchinella does but I'd sure like to challenge myself to try using it in an art piece:)

  13. My muse is history. I go crazy over the Arthurian legends and even did an ATC based on them. I love old family pictures or CVDs and have changed them into something completely different with whatever comes up in my mind.

  14. Tough question. But I'll have to go with digging through my stamps or browsing the web.

  15. I would say that color inspires me the most, but also papers, images, and especially other people's artwork! I love seeing how someone uses an image or paper that I have, but in a way that never occurred to me. Christine
